Awesome Garlic Bread

I know its time to start sharing all kinds of fun Christmas goodies, but I just haven't quite gotten my act together yet. Sweets and candies are coming, I promise! A few good meal and bread recipes are on the horizon as well. But for today its just something simple (and my picture totally struggles, I apologize). This spread for garlic bread reminds me a little bit of something like the kind you can buy in the freezer section in a grocery store in the States made by Pepperidge Farm or someone like that. Its really yummy. Enjoy!

Garlic Bread
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 Tbs mayonnaise
3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 tsp basil or oregano
2 Tbs parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
French Bread, sliced in half, or other thick bread or buns

Mix together butter, mayo, and spices. Spread onto sliced bread. Place on pan and broil in preheated oven until toasted. Can keep pre-made garlic butter in fridge for a week or two--just soften before spreading.

*I know parmesan can be hard to find, so leave it out if you have to, but its really good in it!
