Veronica's Pickling Tips: Jars

China is definitely a pickling and vinegar brewing culture. There are usually jars sitting on the counter in most restaurants and they will often serve "paocai" on the table (at least here in the province I live in!). You can easily by jars and crocks locally that you can use for pickled and fermented foods (I see them at the homemade jiu or vinegar sellers in the markets.) If you don't have these in your areas they are also available on Taobao. Here are two links from Veronica.

Jiu Jar (there are lots of fancier ones too--might be fun for a party!)
Pickling Jar

Taobao has lots of great glass jars and such if you haven't looked before. Like these. Ikea also has these around the same price range as well as others. I love jars.
