My oldest daughter turned 7 this past month. We embraced recent movie trends and did a Frozen themed party. I mean she's not going to be into themes like this for much longer! This was one of the simplest parties I've done in awhile but still SO fun for the girls! Hope it gives you an idea or two!
Invitations
There are a couple sites online with free Frozen invitation printables. But we just did a simple Frozen background that we snagged online with the information on it. FYI as of the time I did this, there was no Frozen-like font available anywhere.
The Cake
I went super simple with cupcakes! I iced them in blue, purple or white. I had a little bit of this blue glitter dust that I sprinkled on the white ones. For the snowflakes, I used white melting chocolate and piped the snowflakes onto wax paper, let them harden, then set them on top of the iced cupcakes.
Games
Sandwich Relay - Hans and Anna love sandwiches. I have this Melissa and Doug sandwich stacking game, so we did a little relay making sandwiches.
Melt the Frozen Heart - I make heart shaped ice cubes. The kids had to see who could melt theirs the fastest--they weren't allowed to eat them though!
Freeze Tag - Classic and fun!
Do You Want to Build a Snowman? - I had the kids pair up. They had rolls of toilet paper, hats, and scarves to make each other into snowmen.
Singalong - A Frozen party wouldn't be complete without time to singalong to movie favorites or watch a few of their favorite parts!
Decorations and Food
I really didn't do much for this! I had bought some Frozen party plates in the US this winter. They certainly helped it feel like the theme but you could just use colors that go too. I didn't add any additional decorations other than the table.
Other than our cake, the only food I did was this plate of marshmallows and pretzel sticks. The girls had toothpicks and could build snowmen from the pieces.
There are tons of cute ideas online though to go with the movie--sandwiches, chocolate fondue, carrots, etc..
Favors
I did little bags of Frozen stickers, a Frozen eraser, blue Hershey's kisses and a small chocolate bar--since Elsa and Anna love chocolate!
