Kitchen Tip: Weighing Ingredients

So today I found myself without any accessible measuring cups because they were all in my dishwasher. Have I mentioned that my AMAZING husband got me a dishwasher? Don't hate me. Nearly 10 years in China and this is a first for me. I'm truly loving it. Anyway, back to my tip…all my measuring cups were in the dishwasher doing their thing, but I needed to take advantage of my time window on making some cinnamon rolls. So I found this great list of ingredients measured by weight. So whip out your kitchen scale (if you don't have one, you need one anyway) and use it next time you are without measuring cups. Yes, yes, I know most of us don't usually have that problem, but for what its worth, this was a fun find worth sharing. Real bakers and Europeans would say you should measure by weight anyway, right?
