Back when we were in Thailand for Aliza's birth, my mom ran over to a little nearby restaurant and got some bread to go with our dinner. It looked like the brown bread at Outback. It didn't taste like it so much though. The pack came with 3 small loaves. No one wanted to eat more than one of them. Including my dad who eats about anything! So later that week I noticed them still in the freezer. My mom thought they needed some sort of flavored cream cheese to make them better. Seeing how we didn't have any cream cheese on hand, I went to a butter idea. Cinnamon honey butter. It definitely made the bread good--really the bread just became an avenue for the butter! It was also super yummy on waffles, pancakes, and toast. I decided then and there that I would gift it for Christmas this year. Hope you like it, too!
Cinnamon Honey Butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp cinnamon
Beat room temperature butter for about 30 seconds. Add remaining ingredients and beat until nicely whipped. Serve and enjoy!
Notes: The first time I made this I didn't have a mixer. I just got the butter REALLY soft in the microwave and then mixed by hand. Worked fine!
