Vacation

Well, I've been going back and forth in my mind about taking a little blogging vacation. This coming month we'll be in the US to visit with family. Normally if we're just not around the computer for a week, I blog a recipe or two ahead of time and you don't even know I was gone. But a month? Yeah, I haven't had time lately to work ahead that much. Its day to day around here lately! But last night, as we thought about not even taking my computer with us on the trip but just having one, the thought of having to scramble to get some pictures and recipes on to Brian's computer was just too much. So the little thought in the back of my mind became a reality. I just need a break this coming month from a lot of things! This blog is not my source of income like many food bloggers. Its just a hobby. An outlet. For fun. I'm so glad it blesses so many of you. But to keep it something fun, I'm going to take a little break. I'll be back in March! Until then, enjoy all the stuff that's already here--your favorites or maybe even try something new!

  4. marknjoni--I haven't read anything about honey. Maybe post the links? I feel like honey is hard here from a taste perspective. There are so many types and it can get expensive. I usually buy the Great Value brand they sell at my local grocery store (Store is called Trust Mart but its owned by Walmart). It seems to be the best for price and taste for us. Its so frustrating when you start to read things--the fruits and veggies are over treated with hormones, the pork and what they feed pigs is worrisome, the milk has melamine.....just trying to keep perspective and do what I can to feed my family healthy and within our budget! Ugh. I'm with you though--it can be stressful.
