Make-Ahead Breakfasts

I just wanted to do a quick post for you to highlight a few make-ahead breakfast ideas that are already on this blog! I LOVE having a breakfast casserole made ahead for Christmas morning. I pop it in the oven real quick before the kids start opening gifts, then its ready about the time we are!

Something I tried recently was making my regular cinnamon rolls but changing up the presentation! The recipe on here works great to make a day ahead, leave in the fridge, then bake on the morning you want it. Roll out dough, but instead of slicing it, just wrap it into a circle and cut in about half way. Arrange rolls to lay out a bit so you can see the insides. For a fun treat, put the icing in a bowl in the middle and let everyone pull and dip! (Please just avoid noticing that my wreath was too small for my bowl!)

Our traditional choice is this Sausage Breakfast Casserole. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of it. I don't like eggs but I love this. We've been making it on Christmas morning for 4 or 5 years now.

Another idea is this French Toast Casserole. There are a variety of recipes for this same type thing all over the internet. So I don't think you can go wrong however you make it! Top it with some homemade syrup! (oh, and note there are several syrup recipes in the comments of this post as well!)

Of course you could glance through the index and find all kinds of quick breads and muffins to make ahead and reheat as well.

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!
