Awhile back my sweet friend Patty gave me a couple recipes to share. She also gave me a company menu that is one of her go-to's for feeding a crowd or dinner guests in her home. I thought this was such a great series to start. Ideally for me, a good company or crowd menu is something that doesn't require me being in the kitchen all day, easily makes a lot, is budget friendly, and above all is GOOD, feed your body and your soul kind of food. This menu and others that are coming in the future will hopefully fit all or at least most of those things! So, here's a great company menu from Patty that I use all the time at my house as well!
Feeding a Crowd: Menu #1
Crockpot BBQ Pork or Chicken
Twice Baked Potato Casserole
Ramen Salad (omit chicken)
I often times serve my BBQ with buns or rolls. This adds an extra thing to make but it also makes the BBQ meat stretch a lot further. I like to have extra BBQ sauce for adding to the meat. If you don't need the filling potato casserole or just need something easier, open up some bags of potato chips instead! A German Potato Salad would be another side option. Or you could just bake some potatoes and serve the BBQ on the top or side of those!
Note: Since I already had a crockpot BBQ recipe and the Ramen salad on here I did not add Patty's recipes for these as they only had slight variations. The potato recipe I got from her to begin with!
